As unintuitive as can be

I hate this app. Im sitting here feeling like I have to learn a new programming language. All I want to do is set up a bar of beats with audible subdivisions, but it beats me how to do it, even after consulting the user guide.
I definitely should have chosen the other app I was considering (and now will have effectively paid more for once I buy it, as I will never use this present app.)
